SurfShelf? Is It The Perfect Laptop Holder for Your Exercise Equipment?

Talk about coincidences! I happened to be laying on my bed doing some work on my laptop and had the following thoughts that:

1. I felt guilty about lying around
2. Wishing that there was a better way to stay focus on what I was doing instead of nodding off
3. was wondering if there was a way to exercise and work on my laptop at the same time

This led to an idea about trying to design some type of device that could hold and support my laptop while exercising on my treadmill. This would solve my above problems. So I started searching around for some ideas on how to put something like this together.

Well in the process of doing this research I stumbled upon a new company called SurfShelf that just happened to be marketing exactly what I was looking for. It almost seemed too good to be true! I admit, it felt a little creepy finding exactly what I had envisioned after such a brief search. Obviously I had to find out more about this new product.

After reading some of the testimonials and looking at the design and construction of this device, I was convinced it was just what I was looking for. I quickly purchased this laptop holder online and waited impatiently for it to arrive.

As soon as it arrived last friday, I immediately assembled it (which was quite easy) and attached it to my treadmill. I was impressed with its designed flexibilty for various situations and the overall sturdiness. I was up and running (literally) in no time.

I started out by checking and reading my emails while walking at a brisk pace. Before I even realized it, 30 minutes had gone by and I was starting to work up a nice sweat. This was great! It's like having your cake and eat it too. I now have the means to accomplish two goals at the same time. Not only can I take care of some business online like emails, pay bills, do some correspondences, I can also reach my goal of losing 25 pounds before summer.

I'm not one to watch TV or videos online, but with this laptop holder device I probably will start using it this way as a change of pace. The only warning I can see with the SurfShelf is becoming addicted to your treadmill. The time flys by so quickly (just did an hour and 30 minutes) that I found it hard to stop.
